Training Record Books

The MNTB Deck, Engineering Training Record Books (and Electro-Technical when published) are available to the companies and organisations that provide sponsorship for MNTB approved education and training programmes. They are also available to educational establishments, who will provide them to officer trainees and seafarers on their programmes. They cannot be purchased direct by trainees or seafarers themselves.

Only companies and educational establishments can order TRBs from the MNTB by sending an email purchase order quoting the number, type required (deck, engineering or ETO), invoice and delivery details to donna.stevens@british-shipping.org They cost £25.00 +VAT each.

There is an introductory leaflet that provides a basic introduction to, and overview of, the TRB. It is aimed at all those involved with MNTB-approved education and training programmes, and is particularly relevant to ship staff.
